Afternoon Tea is served by reservation, as available. We offer as many times as possible, posted at the beginning of each month of in our online store. Depending on private parties, catering events, & special orders, availability may vary each week, but is always limited. For this reason, we do require a non-refundable deposit to reserve your table. We offer a couple different menus, depending how much food you prefer, but our 3-course tea service is standard for adults.
During your tea service, you can expect to enjoy a wonderful meal including our Original Sconoli(tm) or scones & Devon cream, assorted tea sandwiches, fresh fruit & cheese, a variety of sweets, & of course a pot of tea for each guest! You may make your tea party as fancy or casual as you like, & we have tea hats & games for you to borrow. Your table will be ready upon arrival at your reserved time, featuring lovely table linens & beautiful china. When you are seated, we will prepare a teapot of the tea of choice for each guest. All you do from there is relax & enjoy the delicious food that will be served to you! Each guest in your party will enjoy the same menu, which changes with the seasons & is presented on pretty plates & tiered trays for your party to share. It is a memorable & intimate experience with those you hold dear.
Now for the less fun but equally important rules and regulations:
**Due to limited seating in our private rooms, reservations are required for tea service. Seating times are 11am to 1pm, as available, any day we are open. We can accommodate up to 10 guests per room, 20 guests maximum. A non-refundable deposit of $10 plus tax per person is required to reserve your table. The deposit is applied toward the final cost of your party. It is very important that you let us know any changes to your reservation; the final head count as of 24-hours prior to your party is the number of guests we will prepare for, and therefore the number of guests you will be charged for. If any guests do not attend the tea, we will happily serve the extra food or box it up to take with you; however, whomever paid the deposit will be responsible for the cost. If you arrive more than 15 minutes beyond your reservation time, you will be asked to reschedule. At this time we are unable to accommodate children younger than 5-years old (including infants). No outside food or beverages are allowed.**
